Tesicnor expands its training offering by becoming officially certified by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) to deliver the new Service Lift Installation, Inspection and Repair (SLIIR) course, focused on the installation, inspection, and maintenance of service lifts in wind turbines.

This certification strengthens Tesicnor’s commitment to delivering high-quality technical training for the wind energy sector, equipping professionals with the skills required to operate safely and effectively, following international standards.

What is the SLIIR course about?

This 14-hour course, available in Spanish and English, trains technicians to:

  • Install and maintain service lifts in wind turbines

  • Perform initial, periodic, and post-repair inspections

  • Follow technical manuals and procedures correctly

  • Safely execute component repairs and replacements

  • Ensure service lift safety and operability

The training includes both theoretical and hands-on modules and covers various lift systems (cable, rack and pinion), safety devices, control panels, guidance systems, and more.
