Since 2023, 136 people have received specialized training in renewable energies thanks to the collaboration between the Navarra Employment Service – Nafar Lansare (SNE-NL) and Tesicnor. This important alliance has made high-level safety training accessible to people from diverse backgrounds, improving their employability in a key sector for the future: wind energy.

Specialized, free training with social impact

The main goal of this partnership has been to provide free access to technically valuable courses, such as those based on the GWO (Global Wind Organisation) standard, essential for working in the wind sector. This training not only delivers practical skills, but also opens real job opportunities, especially for individuals actively seeking employment or undergoing career transitions.

Participant selection: rigorous and employment-focused

The selection process, led by SNE-NL based on objective criteria, prioritized individuals with prior technical education (Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Training, professional certificates, or high school diplomas), especially in fields related to renewable energies.
The participants came from diverse backgrounds: 87% were men and 13% women, of whom 67% and 57% respectively were unemployed. This diversity has helped create job opportunities for both young people seeking their first job and professionals looking to shift their career path.

Courses delivered

  • 9 editions of the full GWO Basic Safety Training course, with a total of 106 participants.

  • Specialized training in elevators, manual handling, electrical risk, and the solar sector, with 30 additional participants.

Tangible results, real transformation
36% of participants secured employment after completing the training. This highlights the program’s role as a gateway to the labor market, particularly in a growing sector like renewable energy.
In addition to immediate employment, several participants continue their training in preparation for future opportunities in the field.

Looking ahead
At Tesicnor, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering local talent and promoting highly qualified employment in the renewable energy sector. We continue to work with SNE-NL to maintain a stable training offer aligned with the specific needs of the industry.
We are grateful for SNE-NL’s trust and support. This collaboration proves that when training centers, institutions, and companies move in the same direction, the impact reaches both the community and the individuals it serves.
